Union Public Service Commission has announced to hold hold a Screening Test for selection to Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination, 2014 through Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2014. Details of examination are given below:-
- Last Date of online application: 30/JUNE/2014
- Date of Preliminary Examination: 24/AUG/2014
- Plan of Examination: The Indian Forest Service Examination will consist of two successive stages
- Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination (Objective type) for the selection for Indian Forest Service
- Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination (Written and Interview)
- No of Vacancies: The number of vacancies to be filled on the results of the examination is approximately 85
- Qualification: Bachelor Degree
- No. of Attempts: Gen. Category=(6 Attempts), OBC=(9 Attempts) & SC/ST/PH= many attempts as are available
- Age Limit: 21-32 Years
- Application Fee: Rs. 100/- & no fee for SC/ST/PH
